“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
I have a strong background in Client-Centered Therapy, a style pioneered by Carl Rogers in the mid 20th century. As a client-centered therapist, I believe that my job is to witness your experience, see the best qualities in you, and reflect those back to you so that you can see yourself in the same light.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which can help with a variety of issues including trauma, shame, and self-image.
If you feel stuck in some part of your life, we can work collaboratively to try new approaches that can get you on the path to leading the life that you want.
